What is a Design Workshop?
The design workshop encourages citizens, residents, business owners and other stakeholders with an interest in the downtown district an opportunity to share their ideas, issues and concerns informally with planners and
actively draw their concepts for the future of the corridor using markers and maps. It also provides people the opportunity to creatively think about possible solutions for the area and define a vocabulary of urban design
improvements. During the workshop, graphics and supporting illustrations are developed. This process allows the public to participate and have a chance to design the community for the future. Stop by for 15 minutes or the entire session.
