On June 19 the Excelsior Springs Plan Committee was updated on the downtown plan element and presented information on the Housing & Neighborhoods element and Community Character element.

During the months of April and May RDG worked with the residents of Excelsior Springs to develop a vision for the downtown. The following images express some of those ideas. More detail is provided in the May Committee meeting.

All Comprehensive Plan material is still in draft format with public comment being taking throughout the summer. An Open House will be held July 16th. Further details will be provided in the coming weeks.
At the May 20th Communitee Meeting RDG Planning & Design presented the Downtown Excelsior Springs Concept, and a review of public facilities, infrastructure, and parks and recreation plan elements.
