On June 19 the Excelsior Springs Plan Committee was updated on the downtown plan element and presented information on the Housing & Neighborhoods element and Community Character element.

At the May 20th Communitee Meeting RDG Planning & Design presented the Downtown Excelsior Springs Concept, and a review of public facilities, infrastructure, and parks and recreation plan elements.
At the January 15th Community Presentation RDG Planning & Design presented a review the city's existing land use, demographics, and the guiding principles for the Excelsior Springs Comprehensive Plan. The meeting was attending by approximately 20 interested citizens. Please join us on February 16, 17, or 18 for the Design Workshop.
On November 14th a community workshop was held at the High School. Information regarding the community questionnaire was shared and residents were asked to provide their input on Excelsior Springs' future. To view the presentation and notes taken during the meeting follow the link below.
The Excelsior Springs Plan Committee began its Strategic Planning work on Thursday, October 16th. Initial results from the community survey were presented and Committee members began formulating strategies for the issues identified in the survey.
