Iconic sculptural columns with interior LED illumination are integrated markers in the median of a major transportation corridor that advance a new identity for the “Uptown” district development along 2nd Street in Rochester.

The forms, based on patterns and reflections in water, are a symbolic connection to the new Cascade Lake recreation area. Other integrated elements include pattern-cut metal railings, raised stone planters and custom relief glazed ceramic tile.
