Over the years, our depth of knowledge and wealth of experience has led RDG to national prominence in several focus markets. We know our customer’s businesses almost as well as our own, and often help clients solve problems that go beyond the traditional scope of design work.

Process

We partner with clients to identify their needs, understand their dreams, and create purpose-driven design solutions. The process exists to define a shared vision and goal set, establish consensus, and collaboratively create higher-quality outcomes in a cost-effective and efficient manner. It is done through a series of planning and definition meetings: a series of "charrettes".

The RDG Charrette is collaborative. We do our homework and get a complete understanding of an organization: its history, structure, culture, and leadership. Our questions go beyond the project basics. Because we involve everyone who might have something to contribute, we gain broader insights into what’s at stake for the end users.

We listen for concerns and ideas that are unique to each client’s project. We tailor each project to make it a perfect fit for that client. The RDG Charrette lays a foundation of guiding principles to handle issues and concerns in a manner that builds consensus throughout a project.
