RDG was commissioned to help the State Hygienics Laboratory expand its laboratory capacity.
The project began as a study to separate the mechanical systems serving the common lab area from higher security lab facilities. It was quickly determined that a building addition would best serve the need to create physical separation, and allow for expansion of the facility. The new facility provides a dedicated space for sample analysis and handling, fully separated from the main laboratory area.
